The Pouch XL is the odd one out in the Echidna range - and deliberately so. No wheels, no tailgates. Just a tough, flat-profile 26-litre carry bag with one standout feature: a clear top panel that lets you see exactly what's inside without unzipping a thing. Built with the same 600gsm hard coated outer canvas, 840gsm PVC waterproof inner and YKK premium zippers as everything else in the range.

600gsm hard-coated waterproof canvas exterior — lighter than the wheel bags but built to the same abrasion-resistant standard. The 840gsm PVC waterproof lining is identical to what's used across the rest of the Echidna range. YKK premium zippers run smooth and stay that way. This is not a budget bag that happens to have a clear top.

The included velcro divider splits the 26L interior into two sections — letting you keep gear separated without needing two bags. It attaches firmly via velcro strips and removes in seconds if you want the full space. Position it anywhere along the bag's length depending on what you're carrying.
Remove the divider entirely for longer items like recovery straps, a fishing rod sleeve, or rolled clothing.

What makes the clear top panel useful?
The clear top panel lets you see everything inside the bag without unzipping it. This is especially useful when the bag is stored under a seat, in a vehicle boot, or stacked on a shelf — you can identify your gear in seconds. It's the kind of feature that sounds simple but becomes one of the most used things on every trip.
How does the velcro divider work?
The removable divider is a stiff panel that attaches to the interior walls of the bag via velcro strips. It splits the 26L interior into two separate compartments. You can reposition it along the bag's length depending on what you're storing, or remove it entirely for full unobstructed capacity. It comes included with every bag at no extra cost.
Is the clear top panel durable? Will it scratch or crack?
The clear panel is made from a durable, flexible transparent material designed for outdoor use. Like any clear material, it can develop fine surface scratches over time with heavy use — but it won't crack or become brittle under normal conditions. Avoid pressing sharp objects directly against the clear surface to keep it looking its best.
What are the exact dimensions? Will it fit under my back seat?
The Pouch XL measures 46cm length × 36cm width × 15cm height (approximately 18" × 14" × 6" in imperial). The flat 15cm profile is specifically designed to slide under seats, into under-tray drawers, and on top of camp boxes. Is the bag waterproof?
The exterior is 600gsm hard-coated waterproof canvas and the interior lining is 840gsm PVC waterproof — so your gear is well protected from moisture. The bag is water resistant rather than fully submersible. For heavy rain exposure, the contents will remain dry. The clear top panel is also weather resistant but we'd recommend not leaving the bag face-up in standing water for extended periods.
